We believe every accident is preventable. That’s why we’ve built a mature Safety Management System (SMS), certified to OHSAS 18001, with legally compliant procedures, best-practice policies, and practical guidance.

But documents alone don’t keep people safe. Our behavioural safety programme, The Byrne Way, is designed to reach hearts and minds—shaping site culture and helping us move toward incident and injury-free (IIF) environments.

Ellmer operates under Byrne Group’s ISO 14001-certified Environmental Management System (EMS), ensuring our work is governed by strong environmental standards from the ground up.

We’ve achieved tangible results—reusing over 18,000 tonnes of site material, cutting thousands of unnecessary road miles, and operating a fleet that stays ahead of emissions regulations. Our approach balances practical innovation with data-driven decisions, streamlining processes and reducing waste at every opportunity.
